What is the Manufacturing Process?
Although the process of manufacturing will change depending on your product's needs, it always involves working closely with the manufacturer or factory to make sure that your production needs are met and that the final product meets your standards. The manufacturing process generally follows these steps:
Step 1: Prepare Product Files
We'll work with you to get your control art or manufacturable product files ready to share with the appropriate factory.
Step 2: Sourcing
We will find the right factory to suit your needs and will begin sourcing potential materials for you to review.
Step 3: Prototyping
After your initial approval, the factory will produce a pre-production prototype to understand the nuances of its production and let it be tested.
Step 4: Decide on Terms and Quantity of Production
Negotiate terms and quantity of the first order with the factory.
Step 5: The Factory Prepares for Production
The factory creates tooling or molds needed to make the product.
Step 6: Quality Controls
Work together with the factory to institute necessary quality controls.
Step 7: Get Your Products
Once production is complete, arrange to pick up new inventory from the factory or have it delivered where it’s needed.
